The soundtrack that we chose to play as non-diegetic sound is 'We are family, by Sister Sledge'.
This soundtrack means a lot and has a lot of thought and meaning behind it. One of the reasons that we chose to use this soundtrack is because the killer in the film is an identical twin with the Kathy, they are family obviously. Another reason is because the group of friends are really close and are family to one another.
We liked the fact that the song is quite upbeat and the scenes in the first 2 minutes are really suspicious and creepy. The fact that these 2 ideas juxtapose each other is what we liked about it. As it leaves the audience with enigmas and questions, as they will be very confused.
